Personal Finance Tracker

Personal Finance Tracker is a private, single-user tool that one individual runs to pull their own bank and credit-card transactions — via Plaid — into a local spreadsheet for personal spending and net-worth analysis.

It is not a commercial product and has no other users. It connects only to the owner's own financial accounts, stores data only on the owner's personal computer, and shares data with no one.

What it does

• Retrieves the owner's transactions and account balances once per day using Plaid's Transactions product.
• Writes them to a local spreadsheet for private analysis (spending by category, daily balances, net worth over time).
